Is much easier to rack than my 9mm Ruger and that's a big plus for me. I have small hands that have suffered some weakness due to arthritis. I can carry it all day long shopping with my wife. I carry it in a left side shoulder holster. The gun seems to like PMCĪnd aquila best. I've fired well over 700 rounds with just a few failures. Regardless of what else I take the PK380 always goes along. I usually make it to the range every other week. I have owned my Pk380 for about two years. Place the rod in the slide, seat the rod in its shelf on the barrel, push the guide rod down and properly seated, then release the spring, the guide rod assembly will lock in place. Push the spring down the guide rod when you have a about a 1/2 ' of rod showing clamp the spring with the needle nose pliers. A very easy way is to use a pair of needle nose pliers. One of the chief complaints is trying to put back the recoil spring and guide rod after cleaning.
